Executive Director, Stroke Support
Stroke changes lives in an instant. We need an executive leader who can help us change what happens next. Join us to make sure that every stroke survivor and their loved ones can live their best life after stroke.
This role is about connection, courage and collaboration – not command and control. If you’re ready to lead with purpose and humanity, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is fully remote, with regular travel to London and the Midlands.
Salary £105k | 35 hours per week
'While in stroke rehab, patients and their families are very supported, and it's important to ensure they feel equally supported in the community - the Stroke Association play a big part in helping with that. Their website is very well designed and easily accessible for stroke survivors, their family, and friends.'
The purpose of the role
You’ll guide and inspire the organisation toward a future where stroke survivors and their loved ones are supported to live their best lives after stroke — where everyone regardless of where they live can access the support they need, in the way that’s right for them, and be able to adapt to their new life and achieve what matters to them.
You’ll steward, connect and convene around this area of our strategy, building relationships within and beyond our charity to inform our approach in Support as well as other areas of our strategy.
'The Stroke Association has been incredible. Manu made everything tangible when it felt like I was living in a dream world. Her support has been more significant than any physical therapy, it’s been a lifechanging and transformative experience.'
